Chapter/Conclusions)
What follows is the last Chapter of my unpublished book "Art Space: The
contribution of Art and Artists to Architecture". It was researched and written
in the mid-nineties, based on privately sponsored research and visitation to
artists studios in Europe and the USA during the summers following the
publication of my book "Epic Space". The material and ideas of this research were
presented in my course Theory of Architecture at the University of Texas
at Arlington, attended by students of the fourth year and the graduate levels.
All the pictures herewith are either mine or were used for my manuscript
following written permission by the copyright holders. I present this
material here for those among my past students who took my classes prior to the
early nineties, and some of which have realized work since then, perhaps
influenced by some of the discussions and ideas , first brought up and explored
in these studios....... The book was written at the closing of the twentieth
century , and just ten years following its entry, Art Space has become an
worldwide reality...!!!
